Local organization that supports formerly incarcerated women and their families. It helps them transition back into society, navigate the system, organize their documents, find jobs, regain custody of their children, find safe dwellings, and more. They receive physical, therapeutic, HIV/AIDS support and different kinds of training such as the one provided by their own Speakers Bureau. The Speakers Bureau trains women to develop their oratory skills to share their stories while they heal and help others heal. They are also financially compensated. Readers Nook is a monthly program to read to the children of the incarcerated.
